Luth Research has compiled a sampling of ratings for Netflix, revealing data on the first quarter of 2015. Among the more interesting stats were that 10.7 percent of subscribers watched at least one episode of Daredevil within the first 11 days of its release, while 7.3 percent checked out Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt in its first month, according to Variety. The third season of House of Cards saw 6.7 percent.
Meanwhile, Bloodline might be considered a disappointment, having only been watched by 2.4 percent of subscribers in its first month.
'Bloodline' Star Talks How Florida Thriller Is Different From 'House Of Cards'
It may not be too shocking that Bloodline is lower rated than other Netflix shows. The Florida Keys drama is a slow burn and hasn't been as buzzed about compared to others shows on the site. It is also an adult-themed drama, which rules out family viewing.
However, the sample size was only 2,500 Netflix users who watched content from their computer, tablet or smartphone. The study did not account for Netflix streamed through television.
Regardless, this is some interesting insight into the average Netflix subscriber's taste, at least on a general level.
Luckily, Netflix does not have to factor in ratings that much due to having their own system of measuring success. Case in point, Bloodline has already been renewed for a second season, which will be released at some point in 2016.
