The ABC drama will come to a climactic end with "Two Graves," but Emily Thorne can rest assured that her problems will not be compounded by her father's attempt to frame her for Victoria's untimely demise.
It seems David's decision to pour ashes down Emily's drain was in an effort to keep his own name clear.
"What that was, and we tried to clear that up: He, back in episode 10, had bought that belladonna root to off Victoria, and basically, he realized that if the cops are starting to maybe look at them for this, that he should get rid of anything that would maybe support their theories," showrunner Sunil Nayar, according to Entertainment Weekly. "He's not planting anything on his daughter at all. No. There's routes we'll go down, but that one we can't."
Emily doesn't need any help looking guilty; a mile long rap sheet and a historically violent history with Victoria are enough to make anyone think she was behind the Grayson Mansion explosion.
