Doctor Who will be seeing plenty of UNIT during season 9.

'Doctor Who' Season 9: Prepare For The 'Glory Days' Of Clara & Twelve, Producer Teases Time Of Their Lives

Jemma Redgrave's Kate Stewart will grace the screen in the series' opening two-parter before returning for two-more episodes around midseason.

"I'm here for the read through for episodes 7 and 8," Redgrave announced in a new behind-the-scenes feature (see video below). "I'm here in Cardiff and really, really happy and thrilled because Kate Stewart is back."

Redgrave made two appearance's last season - first playing a major role in the 50 th anniversary episode and than later appearing in the season finale, "Death in Heaven." As the Chief Scientific Officer of UNIT, Kate Stewart's appearance generally signals a dire, widespread alien incursion that can be solved by none other than the Doctor.

It is currently unknown who is on tap to write and direct episodes 7 and 8. Previously announced episodes are as follows:

Episode 1: "The Magician's Apprentice"
Episode 2: "The Witch's Familiar"
Episode 5: "The Girl Who Died"
Episode 6: "The Woman Who Lived"
