The culinary whiz and cannibalistic killer sure does love an audience, and Hanni's (Mads Mikkelsen) desire to show off his...talents...will push the good doctor back into the spotlight during season 3.
"Hannibal is running, but he's not hiding," Mikkelsen informed TV Guide. "His vanity will always bring him into the public light somehow."
Lecter's showmanship will couple with his desire to see the one man who can put him behind bars. Hannibal and Will Graham's (Hugh Dancy) last meeting went rather badly, but the profiler will be back on the case once the effects of "Mizumono" have blown over.
"He is very much trying to define himself outside of his relationship to Will Graham, but he keeps being drawn back to that dynamic because it's unlike anything he's experienced in his life," series creator Bryan Fuller teased, according to TV Guide.
