There's a snake in the grass amongst the Inhumans. Someone is looking to usurp Jiaying's (Dichen Lachman) role as perpetual leader, and we're cautiously pointing a finger at the society's prickliest of suspects.
Cal's accidentally revealed Skye's (Chloe Bennet) parentage to the entirety of Afterlife in "The Dirty Half Dozen," and someone (ahem, Raina?) might use this new revelation to throw a little coup.
"Jiaying is in a tough spot," executive producer Jed Whedon told Variety. "She was trying to balance her devotion to family with her devotion to her people. And now with Raina in the mix, having proven herself to be a real Clairvoyant by predicting the events that occur in Age of Ultron... Well, Jiaying's in a tough spot. Someone may try to make a power play..."
Look for some major Inhuman's advancement in this week's "Scars." Now that SHIELD and SHIELD 2.0 have Skye and Lincoln (Luke Mitchell) in custody, prepare for the three-way battle to kick into high gear.
