Poor Liz (Megan Boone). Just as the profiler gets out from under one criminal investigation, the long arm of the law is ready to snap her up again. This time, however, Liz is not even remotely guilty.
So, our beleaguered heroine will spend the season finale on the run. Tasked with unraveling her past in an effort to understand the Cabal's intentions, Liz will unearth major revelations about her fiery childhood memories during "Masha Rostova."
"We are, in the last few episodes, going to be going back to that critical night in which so much of the story has its roots. Yes, we're going to have a big discovery," series creator Jon Bokenkamp teased, according to Entertainment Weekly. "The storyline of Liz and her mother and how she's connected to Red is going to be at the heart of our finale."
Considering Lizzie's arduous journey thus far, viewers can expect the May 14 episode to be "much messier, much more desperate, [and] much more dissonant" than the freshman closer.
