Hawaii Five-0 has a new big bad.

'CSI: Las Vegas' Canceled? CBS Looking At Two-Hour Series Finale Movie

Gabriel Waincroft (Christopher Sean) has been quietly subverting all of Five-0's expectations, but Chin's (Daniel Dae Kim) brother-in-law will make some major noise in the season 6 premiere (note: CBS has yet to announce a season 6 renewal.) Known for his murderous tendencies, Gabriel's rise to power can only spell danger for McGarrett's (Alex O'Loughlin) team.

"[Gabriel is] definitely going to be a force to be reckoned with, and he's going to come right up, very hot out of the gate in the first episode next season," showrunner Peter Lenkov informed The Hollywood Reporter.

The finale moments of "A Make Kaua (Until We Die)" proves that Gabriel is looking for an ally inside law enforcement, and he's willing to make some lucrative offers in the process. However, it is still unclear what the cop killer is up to - or why he thinks staying in paradise is a wise idea.

"The pieces are going to come a little bit more together at the beginning of next year," Lenkov explained to The Hollywood Reporter, neither confirming or denying if Chin will accept Waincroft's proposal. "Somebody like that, you imagine as soon as he got away, he would have left the island, but he didn't, so you've got to ask yourself why."
