'Girl Meets World' Gets A Visit From Mr Squirrels, Ben Savage Previews Eric's Return [VIDEO]
Boy Meets World's Eric Matthews, sorry, Plays With Squirrels is ready to dole out advice on Girl Meets World.
This Friday, Cory's (Ben Savage) older brother will make his first appearance on the next generation spinoff. Aptly titled "Girl Meets Mr. Squirrels," the season 2 episode will see Eric (Will Friedle) attempt to mediate a dispute between BFFs Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and Maya (Sabrina Carpenter).
"We really explore Eric's character and what an interesting and lovable and strange character he is," Savage told MTV.

What Savage failed to mention, however, is whether or not Eric has kept his Mr. Squirrels persona over the years or if he is merely breaking out the long lost character for the benefit of his niece.
Eric's appearance comes as Girl Meets World starts to pepper in even more Boy Meets World alum.
"Season one was really about introducing the new show, and I think that season two, we're able to tell deeper stories and part of those stories are bringing back old cast members from the original series," Savage said, according to MTV.
