'Orange Is the New Black' Season 3 Cast: Ruby Rose Talks How Female Prison Show Could Have Been A 'Failure'
Ruby Rose was already a huge fan of Netflix's Orange Is the New Black before signing on to guest star as an important character in season 3.

Rose, who will play new prisoner Stella Carlin in season 3 of OITNB, spoke with Sunday Style recently about the status of her career and how she feels to be part of such a groundbreaking show.
"I'm fired up and excited about everything again," Rose admitted. "I've hit the ground running. If I can continue this momentum, then I'm going to have a happy year."

The actress was apparently a big fan of Laverne Cox, who plays Sophia Burset on the prison series. Now that she is actually a part of the show and working alongside her, Rose could not be happier.
"It's crazy, right? It blows my mind," she said. "I'm such a big fan. The show is obviously brilliant, but it has women directors, writers and producers; it's about women in a prison. Everything about it had 'failure' written on it."
Rose's Stella may become an object of desire for Piper (Taylor Schilling) in the new season, based on a particularly intriguing stolen glance in the season 3 trailer. It remains to be seen if Stella will turn into a valued member of the rapidly growing Orange Is the New Black ensemble, but it seems that Rose is already feeling the love.
Orange Is the New Black season 3 is scheduled for release on Friday, June 12 at 3 a.m. ET / midnight PT on Netflix. All 13 episodes will be released at once, as per Netflix's release model.
