Lorraine Toussaint is adding to the rumors that she may be returning for season 3 of Netflix's Orange Is the New Black.

Poussey & Taystee's Friendship Has Renewed Energy in 'OITNB' Season 3?

Toussaint, who played the villainous Vee in season 2 of the prison series, recently spoke with Yahoo and suggested that her coming back to the show is still possible.

Vee was run over by Rosa (Barbara Rosenblat) in the season 2 finale after both of them managed to separately escape the prison. It was assumed that Vee was dead after this incident, but there is a scene in the season 3 trailer that fans are saying shows Vee in the cafeteria, suggesting she might still be alive.

"You know, all I can say is, you have to watch," Toussaint said when asked about this. "I had someone recently say, 'So, is Vee dead, or is she dead dead?' All I can say is, 'Well, as far as I know, she's dead.'"

Of course, it's possible that this cafeteria scene is just a flashback for another character.

Toussaint discussed Orange Is the New Black creator Jenji Kohan and how she has formed so many strange and wonderful moments on the show.

"The mind of Jenji Kohan is such that I would never presume to even think I know what she's doing, where she's going, how she's rolling. Nor should I, because good Lord, she created some extraordinary moments," Toussaint said.

Orange Is the New Black season 3 is set for release on Friday, June 12 on Netflix.
