'Secrets and Lies' Season 2: New PHOTO Shows Pensive Cornell, Is New Mystery Already Filmed?
Detective Cornell (Juliette Lewis) may already be on to her next case following the conclusion of Tom Murphy's murder and the shocking twist of what happened with the Crawford family on Secrets and Lies.
Has 'Secrets and Lies' Season 2 Been Given An Official Premiere Date?
The show won't be airing its second season on ABC until 2016, but fans are already eagerly awaiting the mystery series' return, which will see Cornell faced with a new case, and another new group of potential suspects with dark hidden secrets for her to investigate. However, a new photo posted on the show's official Facebook account seems to hint that Cornell may already have started investigating her new case--and is lurking in the shadows observing her perceived suspect already.

The image, which shows a pensive looking Cornell leaning against a wall with her shadow behind her as she looks off at something to her right, is now the show's cover photo on the page.
Crawford Family Are All Not Returning For Season 2
Nothing besides the show's planned return (which will move to Wednesdays and air during Nashville's winter hiatus), and the fact that Cornell is the only returning character has yet been revealed.
It is unclear what direction the show will take with its new mystery, and whether the crime she investigates will be just a murder, or a murder mixed with other crimes. The show's original season was based on the Australian television series of the same name, and used that show for its source material. It was not picked up for a second season however, meaning the decision to bring the American series back for more episodes gives the writers more creative control over how the action will unfold.
