Rumer Willis cannot get over the fact that she went through a whole season of ABC's Dancing With the Stars and ended up winning.
Is Val Chmerkovskiy Leaving 'Dancing With the Stars' After Winning?
Willis, who won Dancing With the Stars with her pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy last Tuesday, took to Instagram on Friday to reflect on her journey. The daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore posted a photo of herself with Chmerkovskiy holding the Mirrorball trophy.
"Still in awe and reflecting on this amazing journey....I am already a bit sad that it is over but I am so excited to figure out what I am going to do next," Rumer wrote alongside the photo. "Thank you again to all of the amazing fans and your votes and support. And a huge thank you to @iamvalc for giving me the greatest gift I could ever ask for confidence and belief in myself....and of course the gold mirror ball #teamvalenrue #dwts".
'DWTS' Champ Val Chmerkovskiy Reveals Which Fans 'Mean So Much' To Him
This was a huge moment not only for Rumer, but for Chmerkovskiy as well. The pro dancer had joined the show in season 13 and had never won the Mirrorball trophy, coming in second and third on a few occasions. But in season 20, the 10th anniversary of the show, Chmerkovskiy finally found the right partner in Rumer and they took it all the way to the end.
Rumer is taking a break from dancing for now while Chmerkovskiy is set to be in the Dancing With the Stars tour this summer.
Meanwhile, Dancing With the Stars will return for season 21 in the fall on ABC, with the show returning to its Mondays at 8 p.m. timeslot.
