Survivor: Cambodia - Second Chance may just be one of the most brutal seasons ever - and not just because of the backstabbing.

'Survivor' Fans Outraged After Surprising 'Second Chance' Snubs

The cast of Survivor: Cambodia has flown out to Koh Rong, Cambodia and are currently doing pre-show interviews and press. Unofficial calendars suggest that Day 1 will be on Friday and based on weather predictions, the 20 castaways will be in for a rainy season.

Weather reports show that this entire week in Cambodia will be a rainy one, with Friday having some heavy rain. The chance of rain is 100 percent for the first five days of the game, with rain possible for the next few days after that as well.

Some of the more rainy seasons of Survivor have included Palau, Micronesia, Samoa, Nicaragua and Philippines. For Nicaragua in particular, the rain was so bad that it caused both Kelly Shinn (a.k.a. Purple Kelly) and Na'Onka Mixon to quit the game just nine days before the end.

With these 20 returning players, it's pretty unlikely that anyone will quit the game, considering everything they had to go through with the Second Chance vote just to get a chance to play. But it's looking like the raininess might make things very difficult.

Cambodia also gets very hot during the summer, which won't exactly help matters. This added weather element may make Survivor: Cambodia even more intense than it's already shaping up to be.

Survivor: Cambodia - Second Chance will likely premiere in September on CBS in its regular Wednesdays at 8 p.m. timeslot.
