'American Horror Story' Cast 2015: Jessica Lange Returns To Acting In New Ryan Murphy Production
Just because Jessica Lange is done with FX's American Horror Story doesn't mean she's done with acting as a whole.

Lange is returning to the stage for a new production of Long Day's Journey into Night, and she's teaming up with a familiar face. The play is being produced by AHS co-creator Ryan Murphy, so this will mark Lange's latest partnership with the megaproducer.
The 66-year-old actress previously starred in a production of Long Day's Journey Into Night in London back in 2000. She will be reprising her role as Mary Tyrone, a recovering morphine addict.

Other actors slated to appear in the play include Gabriel Byrne and John Gallagher, Jr. The play is beginning previews on March 31, 2016 with an expected opening of April 19 at American Airlines Theater.
Lange's teaming up with Murphy has been enormously profitable for her career. The actress joined American Horror Story in its first season and won an Emmy for her performance as nosy neighbor Constance Langdon. She would return for three subsequent seasons, winning another Emmy for her role as Supreme witch Fiona Goode in American Horror Story: Coven.
Her last performance on the horror anthology series was in American Horror Story: Freak Show, which concluded in January. The legendary actress played freak show owner Elsa Mars.
It remains to be seen if Lange will pick up one final Emmy for her time on American Horror Story, but a Tony might be in her future as well based on this latest news.
