The No. 16 seeded Texas A&M will travel to Starkville, Miss. to go head-to-head with the No. 15 Mississippi State Bulldogs on Saturday afternoon. The respective matchup will be the most difficult away game for the Aggies team this season. It will be the first time that Texas A&M and Mississippi State have faced off since the 2000 Independence Bowl, which the Bulldogs came out victorious in by a 43-41 overtime margin.

The Aggies are coming off a strong 63-21 win against the Auburn Tigers. It was their second SEC road victory in as many games and the fourth time they prevailed as the away team this season. Texas A&M picked up 352 yards in rushing while their offensive attack blew out the Tigers' defense. The Aggies racked up a total of 671 yards during their overall attack, which gave them a team record versus Auburn.

Redshirt freshman QB Johnny Manziel contributed to the Aggies' offense in a big way by throwing for 260 yards. To top it off, the signal caller also came through on the run with 90 rushing yards. The promising youngster was involved in all five of the touchdowns against Auburn.

With the Western Division title of the Southeastern Conference at stake, a win for both of the programs is a must. Unfortunately, only one of the football teams will prevail. Freshman RB Trey Williams didn't play too shabby himself, as he rushed for over 100 yards for the first time in his short career. Williams ran for 109 yards on 19 carries with a touchdown. Overall, the Texas A&M offense scored touchdowns on nine of their 11 possessions.
