Sorry, 'shippers, but it appears the NBC series is not pursing that avenue, at least not at this particular moment. Megan Boone (Liz) weighed in on the duo's confusing relationship following season 2 finale, and the actress doesn't believe her character has any romantic leaning when it comes to her partner in crime.

"I think she loves him, but I don't think there are romantic feelings," Boone told Zap2It. "I don't necessarily think it's a [romantic] love story between Liz and Reddington, even though there are people out there that really feel that's what they want."

Considering Tom (Ryan Eggold) is still in the picture, Liz's dating life seems pretty full. Or at least as full as it can be when you're on the run. Now that The Blacklist has proved, definitively, that Red (James Spader) is not Liz's father, it remains to be seen why, exactly, he is so protective of the former profiler.

"How do you love someone that deeply -- no matter what the circumstances, but especially when the circumstances are mysterious?" Boone teased.
