'Big Brother 17' Premiere: Canadian Fans Outraged With No Way Of Watching Live Feeds, 'Make It Happen'
Canadian Big Brother fans are not happy with CBS and the availability of the live feeds.
'Big Brother' Live Feeds Will Be At Lowest Price Yet
As anticipation for Big Brother 17 rises, fans who live in Canada are coming to the crushing realization that they may not be able to have the full BB experience.
CBS is making the live feeds for Big Brother 17 available through their CBS All Access streaming service, but this service is not available to anyone outside the United States. In order to sign up for CBS All Access, you must have a U.S. billing address, which is obviously a problem if you live in Canada.
'Big Brother 17' Semifinalists 'Have Been Contacted'
While the $5.99 per month price is certainly a deal compared to previous seasons of live feeds, causing many more fans to sign up, CBS might be risking a lot of additional profit by not allowing Canadians to sign up for the service.
Many Canadian Big Brother fans tweeted their outrage over not being able to see the live feeds through legal means.
If the demand is there, CBS will likely try to come up with a plan to allow Canadians to watch the feeds. If not, dedicate fans will undoubtedly find a way.
Big Brother 17 is set to premiere Wednesday, June 24 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. The live feeds will be up after the west coast airing of the Thursday, June 25 episode.
