They've both been scorned by the loves of their lives in recent months, and as a result, a heated new hook-up could shake things up for both Wyatt (Darin Brooks) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) on The Bold and the Beautiful.

According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, in some upcoming episodes, Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) will continue feeling threatened by Liam (Scott Clifton) and Steffy's close working relationship as they team up in the bid for a hostile takeover of Forrester Creations, and in an attempt to outsmart her cousin and enemy when it comes to keeping Liam's love, she will enlist Wyatt's help to try and distract Steffy so she no longer poses a problem. However, the plan could wind up creating something unexpected, as he and Steffy potentially begin to take an actual liking to one another and hit it off.

The two coupling up could be an intriguing partnership formed from them both feeling a little lonely these days. Since her move to Paris, Steffy has returned to L.A. twice to try and win Liam back, once from Hope (Kim Matula) on what was supposed to be the pair's wedding day, and a second time from Ivy during the first attempt to take over the company--but she has lost out on him both times, with his choosing to be with the other women.

Likewise, Wyatt divorced Hope after his unsuccessful attempt to convince her to come back from Italy after her miscarriage, and his recent attempt at romance with Nicole (Reign Edwards) was clouded by his attempt to get Maya's (Karla Mosley) secret out of her. Once the secret was revealed in the press, Nicole cut her ties with him--once again leaving him single and alone.

Now, a hook-up between the two could be what they both need to finally move on from their troubled romantic pasts--and could be a great way to stir up all kinds of troubles for their exes as well.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
