Phillips has been with Longmire since the beginning. The show was cancelled after three seasons on A&E despite being the highest rated scripted show on the network. After the show's diehard fans launched a Twitter campaign, Netflix swooped in a few months later and picked it up.
Netflix renewed the show for a 10-episode fourth season, which is currently nearing the end of production in New Mexico.
Longmire season 4 is being released in the fall on Netflix, though the streaming site has not yet announced a specific premiere date.
