Finn Wittrock was a huge part of FX's American Horror Story: Freak Show, but will he be back for Hotel this fall?

Wittrock's performance as petulant man-child Dandy Mott in AHS: Freak Show was one of the most notable in the whole ensemble. He has not been confirmed as returning for the fifth season of American Horror Story, titled Hotel though.
However, Wittrock did tell TVLine at the Critics' Choice TV Awards on Sunday that he would be working with AHS boss Ryan Murphy in the future.

"I will be back in the Ryan Murphy universe in some capacity," he said. "How exactly that's going to manifest, I still honestly don't know."
Murphy has so many irons in the fire in Hollywood that it's hard to tell what Wittrock might be doing. In the next TV season alone he will have three projects airing. In addition to American Horror Story: Hotel there is also Scream Queens on Fox and the new anthology series American Crime Story on FX.
Either way, many fans are likely hoping that Wittrock returns for another season of American Horror Story. Confirmed stars for AHS: Hotel include Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Evan Peters, Matt Bomer, Wes Bentley, Cheyenne Jackson, Chloë Sevigny, Max Greenfield and Lady Gaga.
Wittrock was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Movie or Limited Series at the Critics' Choice Awards for playing Dandy, but he ended up losing to Bill Murray from HBO's Olive Kitteridge. Perhaps Wittrock will have better luck at the Emmys in September.
American Horror Story: Hotel is set to premiere in October on FX, though the network has not yet announced a specific premiere date.
