'Wayward Pines' Fox: Could A Second Season Be In The Cards? EP Teases Possibility [VIDEO]
Ethan Burke may face another season in Wayward Pines.
The Fox mini series is only slated for a 10-episode run, but that limitation hasn't kept the production's showrunner from contemplating the future of Idaho's most mysterious town.
"Executive Producer Chad Hodge has batted around ideas for a Season 2," Access Hollywood reported from last weekend's ATX Television Festival.

How, exactly, Hodge could wrangle a second season out of the series remains a mystery. This Thursday's episode, "The Truth," will pull back the veil on the inner workings of Wayward Pines, cluing in Ethan and the audience as to what's really happening in the time-defining hamlet (see a preview below).
"Ethan ventures outside of Wayward Pines and is shocked by what he discovers," Fox teased of episode 5. "Meanwhile, Theresa reports to her new realty job and meets her first client who is as confused as Theresa about the eerie town and Ben goes through orientation and learns the truth about Wayward Pines from his teacher Megan Fisher (guest star Hope Davis)."
With five episodes dedicated to dealing with the implications of Pines' true purpose, it stands to reason that there story may meet a natural end in the finale.
