'iZombie' Season 2: Are Blaine & Major Cured On 'iZombie'? Rob Thomas Teases Fallout [VIDEO]
Seattle will be down two members of the undead when iZombie returns next fall.
'Supernatural' Season 11 Spoilers: Eight Episodes Prepared, Which Character Won't Return?
Willing or not, Blaine (David Anders) and Major (Robert Buckley) are the first human/zombie guinea pigs for Ravi's (Rahul Kohli) unfinished cure. While it may cure them of their taste for brains, the limited serum won't be the magic elixir Liv (Rose McIver) was hoping for.
"Ravi would not have wanted to put that cure on the market yet, and for good reason. There will be side effects," showrunner Rob Thomas explained, according to E! Online. "There will be fallout from that. It won't be as easy as boom, you're human again, go enjoy the rest of your life."
'Teen Wolf' Season 5: Tyler Posey Dished On Scott & Stiles Fight, Will Their Friendship Survive?
We wish nothing but good things for Major, but I doubt viewers will be in hysterics if Blaine's cure takes a horribly painful turn. If the brain kingpin does return to his human state, Thomas hinted that he will find it rather difficult to cultivate his criminal enterprise.
"Blaine will have to try to maintain his zombie world while being human so we're going to have some fun in season two with him trying to pass as a zombie," Thomas teased. "Imagine him trying to put on white face to convince his clients that he's still a badass who they should be afraid of."
