Kathy Bates thinks that Lady Gaga and FX's American Horror Story is a match made in heaven.

Bates, who is returning for her third season of American Horror Story this fall, appeared at a For Your Consideration panel for the show on Thursday. The legendary actress was answered a question about the casting of Gaga, who will appear alongside her in the show's fifth season, titled Hotel.

When an audience member asked about Gaga being a "nontraditional" casting choice for American Horror Story, Bates begged to differ.

"Are you out of your mind?" Bates exclaimed, via Variety. "It's perfect casting for this show!"

AHS executive producer Tim Minear was also at the panel and offered up a very juicy teaser for Gaga's upcoming appearance.

"I'd set your TiVos if I were you," he said.

Gaga's casting in Hotel is arguably the biggest get for the show since Bates and Angela Bassett in Coven. Both actresses are returning for Hotel, with Bates playing a character who runs the hotel and Bassett's character having something to do with the ballroom.

AHS co-creator Ryan Murphy has offered up these brief teasers on Twitter, also saying that Sarah Paulson is playing "the baddest bad girl" while enticing fans to join Evan Peters' new character in "Room 64."

There is no word yet on what role Gaga will have in Hotel, though considering her theatrical background and dramatic music videos, she will probably fit right into the show's crazy, morbid world.

American Horror Story: Hotel premieres in October on FX, though the network has not yet announced a specific premiere date.
