Giants vs Bengals, Live Street FREE, Watch NFL Online @ 1 p.m. ET
The struggling Cincinnati Bengals (3-5) will have their work cut out for them when they face off against the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants (6-3) on Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium. However, both NFL squad are coming off disappointing losses in Week 9.
The Bengals came up short in a tough one game against the Denver Broncos when Peyton Manning rallied his team over them in the fourth quarter. However, the Giants defense gave up a significant lead versus the Pittsburgh Steelers while their offense couldn't muster a comeback.
Cincinnati QB Andy Dalton has struggled immensely and sports a 1-11 career mark against NFL teams with winning records in 2011-2012. In order for the Bengals to become a playoff caliber team once again, Dalton must come through in the clutch against the NFL's top teams.
If the Bengals have any hope left to make the postseason, they must find a way to pull out a victory against the Giants. While there isn't as much pressure on the line for New York, a win could get them significantly closer to locking down the AFC East division. Big Blue currently sits ahead of the Eagles by three games.
The Giants' offense has been on the decline since the team prevailed in Week 6 over the San Francisco 49ers. They have been outpossessed and outgained for two consecutive weeks. New York must re-ignite both their passing and ground games in order to maintain their 2011-2012 form.
On a positive note for New York, they have won four of their last five games. Although Cincinnati started out their campaign with a 3-1 record, the team has gone in the complete opposite direction by losing four straight.
