The undefeated Atlanta Falcons (8-0) will look to remain flawless when they head to the Mercedes-Benz Superdome to take on the New Orleans Saints (3-5) in what should be an exciting NFL matchup.

After a 0-4 start, the Saints are playing well having won 3 out of their last 4 games. In order to keep their wild card aspirations alive, a victory for New Orleans is a must. However, the team's schedule won't any easier with four of their next five matchups against the Falcons, Giants and 49ers.

QB Drew Brees went 21-for-27 with 239 yards and two touchdowns against the Philadelphia Eagles in last week's game. Although the star signal caller was sacked twice, he didn't throw a single pick. A big game out of Brees is a must for the Saints to stand a chance versus the NFL's best squad.

In terms of the Falcons' attack, QB Matt Ryan and company lead the NFL with 2.8 points per game on their first possessions. Interesting enough, the Saints are right behind them with 2.6 ppg.

The Atlanta defenders are currently ranked fourth in the NFL for fewest points allowed (17.9) but are actually 19th in yardage given up. Opposing quarterbacks have a 63.5 percent completion rate and are passing for nearly 230 yards against them. Nonetheless, the Falcons have allowed eight touchdown passes but have ten interceptions.

The New Orleans defense is ranked last in yards per game allowed with 471, which could be a recipe for disaster against Ryan and Atlanta's superb attack.

Looking ahead to the following week, the Saints will make the trek to Oakland to play the Raiders while the Falcons go on to host the Arizona Cardinals.
