Cheyenne Jackson could not be more excited about acting on FX's American Horror Story: Hotel this year.

The actor is part of the large ensemble set to star in Hotel, the horror anthology series' fifth season. Other stars include returning favorites like Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates and Angela Bassett as well as pop superstar Lady Gaga.

Jackson spoke with Moviefone recently and previewed what was ahead for Hotel and while he couldn't say much, it is clear that he can't wait to get started.

"I can't say. It's so top, top secret. Literally, not even my mom knows," Jackson said, when asked if he could reveal any info. "I know it's set in a hotel and I know who's in the cast and I know it's scary and amazing. And that's all I know."

While Jackson is eager to read the first script of the season, he is going to have to be patient as AHS co-creator Ryan Murphy crafts the story of Hotel.

"As much as all of us are saying, 'I want to read it!' You've gotta just trust that [Ryan Murphy] knows what he's doing," he said.

Jackson also admitted that he probably won't come up with anything as interesting as Murphy and company for Hotel.

'I've stopped hoping and dreaming and wishing because I know anything I think of will never be as good as what [Murphy] comes up with," he said.

Other stars set to be featured in Hotel include Matt Bomer, Wes Bentley, Chloë Sevigny and Max Greenfield. Filming is reportedly beginning in two weeks, according to the report.

American Horror Story: Hotel premieres in October on FX, though the network has not yet announced a specific date.
