He recently learned that she had been lying to him ever since her return to Salem about why she was really there, and now, after piecing together everything, Eric (Greg Vaughan) will confront Serena (Melissa Archer) about her deceptions on Days of Our Lives.

Serena & Xander's Secrets Are Exposed

After seeing the photo of Serena in bed with Xander (Paul Telfer) from years ago, Eric began to realize more had happened between the two than he ever knew of, and after seeing the elephant statue that Serena had been so fixated on when she go to town as well, he knew that the memento from his days in Africa had something to do with it as well.

Now, after examining the statue and finding the secret compartment, he will confront Serena about her diamond smuggling ring she and Xander are caught up in and demand one last round of answers from her before she flees town. However, he could be shocked when she reveals that Nicole (Arianne Zucker) had been snooping around and was close to figuring things out--which puts her directly in a dangerous path with Xander.

Nicole Finds Herself In A Dangerous Situation

When he realizes Xander may now make a move to hurt Nicole--or worse, kill her--Eric will be spurred into action as he races to save his former fiance--and puts himself in Xander's way as well, forcing them both to go on the run as they try to escape his maniacal plans to kill them both.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
