Father’s Day is just days away so it only makes sense for one of reality TV’s favorite dads, Todd Chrisley of USA’s Chrisley Knows Best, to dish on what the special day is like for him and his hilarious family.

Based on what Chrisley told E! News his children actually have a sentimental side for him; despite the spats they get into when trying to outsmart him on the hit show.
“I always get the same gift from my kids every year, which is a handwritten letter.”

He went to explain why this is the perfect gift from his kids.
“I’m very hard to purchase for— I know it’s shocking to the world, but I buy what I want. I would always say to my kids, ‘Don’t buy me a gift, what you can give me is worth more than what I could go out there and purchase. Write me a letter, tell me what I’m doing right and tell me what I’m doing wrong.”
He said that they actually started doing it when they little kids and kept the tradition going year after year. But of course he knows his children very well and added, “Now, I personally think they’re doing it because they’re cheap.”
While his children have yet to give him this year’s special letter, Chrisley pointed out a few things he knows he has under his belt when it comes to being a good father.
