Whoopi Goldberg '666 Park Avenue' Guest Appearance On Dec. 2
Whoopi Goldberg will deal with the supernatural onscreen again.
"The View" co-host will have a guest-starring role on the television series "666 Park Avenue." The actress will play Maris Elder, a resident at The Drake, according to Entertainment Weekly. Elder helps another building resident Jane (played by Rachael Taylor) by using hypnosis to help understand her supernatural occurences taking place in the building.
TV Guide described the new hit ABC show as a drama about an "exclusive Manhattan apartment building (that) is controlled by evil supernatural forces that endanger the lives of its residents, many of whom have entered into Faustian bargains with the haunted structure's devilish owner."
Goldberg will appear in an episode that will air on Dec. 2. The show airs Sundays at 10/9c on ABC.
Goldberg recently reprised her role as the teacher Carmen Tibideaux on "Glee." She is one of the very few actresses in Hollywood to win an Oscar, a Grammy, a Tony and an Emmy.
Goldberg was nominated for an Academy Award for her first film "The Color Purple" and won the award for her role as a psychic on "Ghost." She shared the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Talk Show Host for "The View" with co-hosts Joy Behar, Sherri Shepherd, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Barbara Walters.
Goldberg recently opened up to TMZ about dealing with the devastation of Hurricane Sandy. She was asked how she was doing post-Sandy as she was leaving a New York City hotel.
"I'm just trying to get my s**t rebuilt" she told TMZ.
The Oscra-winning actress then expressed concerned about TMZ's cameraman after he told her he lost a car due to flooding.
"Oh baby, sorry," Whoopi said ."I'm glad you're safe."
