American Horror Story co-creator Ryan Murphy recently revealed a slew of exciting details about Lady Gaga, Evan Peters and more regarding season 5, a.k.a. Hotel.

Murphy spoke with Deadline in a revealing new interview, discussing American Horror Story: Hotel and the juicy parts in store for Gaga, Peters, Sarah Paulson and many more.

The executive producer said that anticipation is high ahead of season 5.

Jessica Lange Offers Her Thoughts On Lady Gaga Joining 'American Horror Story'

"Everybody in the show is very excited about this season, Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters particularly because in every season thus far they've always been sort of the heroes, the good guy or the good lady so to speak, and this season they're playing absolute evil villains so they're very excited about that and I think people will really enjoy it, and the Gaga part is bananas good," Murphy revealed.

Murphy emphasized that the parts of Peters, Wes Bentley, Matt Bomer and Finn Wittrock are "big," though he added that several of the women have excellent parts as well, including Gaga, Paulson, Kathy Bates and Angela Bassett.

Hotel will have "a different tone this year than we've had" in previous season and it will focus more on the horror and the darkness.

"The upcoming season that we're doing is much more horror-based; it's much more dark. It's about a theme and an idea that's very close to my heart that I've always wanted to do that's a little bloodier and grislier I think than anything that we've done before; it's straight horror this year."

He also added that there will be no musical numbers, despite the presence of Gaga. The musical numbers in American Horror Story: Freak Show were among the most divisive aspects of the season.

American Horror Story: Hotel is set to premiere in October on FX.
