John Peter Kousakis has been quite for the last few weeks, but with production just around the corner, the EP dropped a new teaser for the fall run.

"Sneak peek at E701. Writ[ten] By [R. Scott] Gemmill," Kousakis tweeted on Friday. "Always exciting and full of laughs & twists. #staytuned more to come as prep begins. #ncislaS7."

Although the episode in question is No. 701, there is a very real possibility that it will not feature as the premiere. NCIS: LA shot two season 7 episodes during May, one that featured NCIS's Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) and one that was directed by Chris O'Donnell (Callen), the former of which could easily function as the premiere.

Regardless of how it begins, season 7 will treat viewers to more enticing Callen reveals. The orphaned agent has spent his life trying to unravel his past, and the events of "Chernoff, K" has placed the truth almost within his grasp.

We ended [season 6] on Callen's father...or is it Callen's father?" Barrett Foa (Eric teased at MCM London Comic Con, according to Red Carpet News TV. "There are some cool things I think are going to be revealed about our main guy who really has been searching for some answers to his family."
