'Big Brother 17' Live Feeds: Power Of Veto Winner Revealed As Clay Volunteers To Go Up On The Block [VIDEO]
The results of the Power of Veto competition have screwed with the Head of Household's plans on CBS's Big Brother 17.
Becky & Shelli's Nominations Revealed on 'BB17' Live Feeds
Head of Household: Shelli Poole
Nominees: Da'Vonne Rogers and John McGuire
Other houseguests: Audrey Middleton, Austin Matelson, Becky Burgess, Clay Honeycutt, Jackie Ibarra, James Huling, Jason Roy, Jeff Weldon, Liz/Julia Nolan, Meg Maley, Steve Moses and Vanessa Rousso
Audrey's Closest Allies Turn Against Her on 'Big Brother'
Shelli remained HOH after her nominations of Da'Vonne and John failed to win Battle of the Block. The houseguests played in the Power of Veto competition on Friday and while the live feeds were blocked out during the competition, it soon became clear when they returned that John had won the Veto.
Shelli and her closest ally Clay freaked out about this development and tried to convince John to not use the Veto on himself, to make sure their target Da'Vonne was sent home. John was having none of this, and fully intends on using it on himself at the Veto ceremony.
This means that Shelli will have to think of a replacement nominee. Since she has said multiple times that she doesn't want to be the person to send Audrey out of the game, it looks like she isn't an option, despite what a vast majority of the house wants.
Instead, Shelli wants to put up either Liz or Meg, since very few people would want to vote either of them out. Meg has more or less convinced Shelli that she does not want to go on the block so Shelli is leaning towards putting up Liz.
Meanwhile, Clay has rather foolishly been volunteering to go up on the block as a pawn. Shell has turned down this request on multiple occasions but that hasn't stopped him from eagerly bringing the thought up. If Shelli were to actually nominate Clay then he would probably go home instead of Da'Vonne, considering he's a huge physical and social threat.
It remains to be seen what Shelli will do and if anyone will convince her one way or the other.
Big Brother 17 returns for another episode on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
