'Days of Our Lives' Cast News: Aiden & Daniel Both Leaving Salem? Shocking Planned Exits Announced [PHOTO]
It appears the fictional town of Salem could dwindle even further in population before the year's end on Days of Our Lives.
Reports have been swirling that not one, but two leading men are set to leave the show with planned exits as early as December. According to We Love Soaps, Daniel Cosgrove, who portrays lawyer Aiden Jennings and is currently Hope Brady's (Kristian Alfonso) love interest, will see his storyline wrap in November.
Other reports about Cosgrove's character also seem to confirm his character's planned departure, when the fact that Hope's ex-husband, Bo (Peter Reckell) is headed back to Salem for the show's 50th anniversary is factored in. While many assumed he would be a great way to force Hope to feel conflicted about the men in her life, a script for a November episode which was allegedly leaked seemed to hint that Aiden could be killed off, with stunt doubles being requested for both his and Hope's characters. Considering how wary he has been of Clyde (James Read) lately, a conflict could be arising between him and his client.
Meanwhile, the more shocking of the two rumored exits would be none other than Shawn Christian--Dr. Daniel Jonas! According to Daytime Confidential, Christian is seeking to leave the show after playing the character since 2008. Those rumors have yet to be confirmed, and it is unclear if he truly will exit the series for good.
