'Teen Wolf' Season 5 Spoilers: A 'Little Rift' Coming For Scott & Kira, Wolves & Foxes Don't Get Along [VIDEO]
A werewolf and a kitsune might not be Teen Wolf's most stable pairing.
Teenage romance is hard enough as it is, but when you throw the supernatural into the mix, hooking up just gets downright dangerous. Scott (Tyler Posey) and Kira (Arden Cho) were warned from the jump that foxes and wolves have a contentious relationship, but young love prevailed nevertheless.
Until now, that is.
"Remember in season 4 [it was said that] wolves and foxes, they don't get along," Posey told USA Today. "One's a wolf and one's a fox and that is some good foreshadowing for this season because - I don't know how much I'm allowed to say - Scott and Kira also may have a little rift in their relationship. They may need to take a pause and assess their situation."
Watch out, Scira fans, season 5's deadly portents may soon be compounded by heartbreak. Despite his ominous warnings, however, Posey did acknowledge Scott and Kira's "genuine love" for each other. Perhaps hope springs eternal for Beacon Hills' True Alpha.
