Retired women tennis champions Chris Evert and Lindsay Davenport are set to guest start in an episode of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" in January, according to CBS.

The two tennis greats will star as themselves alongside former men's player Justin Gimelstob in the episode which will investigate a death of a professional female tennis player.

58-year-old Evert is a former World No. 1 professional tennis player. She has won 18 Grand Slam singles and three doubles titles. She has been inducted in to the hall of fame and has been the president of the Women's Tennis Association twice.

Davenport, 36, has won three Grand Slam singles and an Olympic gold medal in singles. She is married University of Southern California All-American tennis player Jonathan Leach. The couple has three children together and reside in California.

Gimelston is a former top ranked U.S. Junior tennis player. The 35-year-old has blogged for Sports Illustrated and is now a TV commentator.

CSI is a crime drama TV series which has been running since 2000. It has been awarded the "International Television Audience Award (Best Television Drama Series)" three times and its worldwide audience topped 73 million viewers in 2009. In 2012, he long-running show has been named the most watched show in the world for the fifth time.
