Doctor Who's Twelve could go head-to-head with one of Ten's old foes in the near future.

'Doctor Who' Season 9: Twelve To Make A 'Cataclysmic' Mistake, Will He Really Kill A Young Davros?

David Tennant's tenure as the beloved Time Lord saw him reconnect with K-9 and Sarah Jane (Elisabeth Sladen) in 2006's "School Reunion," a partnership that supposedly led to the demise of the Krillitanes' Mr. Finch (Anthony Head).

Unfortunately, death by caustic chip dip might not be the most reliable means of dispatching murderous headmasters (see video below).

"I don't think the chip fat got him," Head told the Radio Times. "I know him personally and I think he's keen to meet the Doctor again..."

Toby Whithouse, the creative mind behind the Krillitanes schoolhouse takeover, has penned two episodes for season 9. Set to air as installments three and four, the two-parter will focus on a creature in Loch Ness named the Fisher King (Neil Fingleton), according to The Mirror. Could Head also have some sort of role to play in the murky episodes, or is Finch's return merely speculation for the Doctor's distant future?

Find out if the shape shifting Krillitanes will ever return when Doctor Who returns to BBC and BBC America this fall.
