'Teen Wolf' Season 5 Spoilers: Lydia Is 'Tired' Of Being Defenseless, How Will The Banshee Become Battle Ready? [VIDEO]
Teen Wolf's Lydia Martin is about to uncover a whole new side to her banshee skills.
Beacon Hills' resident genius was defenseless during "Dreamcatchers," but the wailing prognosticator isn't about to let it happen again. As it turns out, werecreatures and kitsunes aren't the only supernatural beings with the ability to dole out a beating.
"What Lydia realizes this season is that she is not quite the fighter that her friends are and she gets tired of it," series creator Jeff Davis teased, according to E! Online. "She wants to learn how to fight and how to protect herself and that leads her to path where she wants to master her power and learn new powers as well. She's going to learn different skills from different sources."
Viewers got a taste of Lydia's (Holland Roden) new fisticuffs repertoire during the opening moments of "Creatures of the Night," and it sounds like the MTV drama has many more such sequences in store.
"I think it's cool that Lydia's got some ninja skills. My stage combat skills from high school are coming in handy," Roden previewed on Wolf Watch, explaining that she finally was able to train with the stunt coordinator for the first time in five years.
Find out what's next for Lydia and Co. when Teen Wolf airs Mondays at 10 p.m. ET on MTV. Watch the video below to get a glimpse at the series' next installment, "Condition Terminal."
