During the episode of the CBS soap that is going to air today, July 8, it seems as though Nick (Joshua Morrow) is stepping up to take on some business at Newman-Abbott.
In the sneak peek teaser, Gabriel/Adam taunts Nick's choice of clothing.

"That's a nice suit. You going to a costume party later?" Gabriel/Adam asks a very dapper looking Nick.
Nick surprisingly doesn't bark back with his own equally petty insult. He just states a fact instead.
"No, just reporting for duty at the company with my name on the building," Nick confidently shares.
Meanwhile, Sharon (Sharon Case) will go see Victor with her daughter Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) in jail. According to Soaps, he'll appear shocked that Sharon arranged the visit, but he'll be very grateful. In the teaser video, not much is said between them, but it looks like they have an understanding of each other. Sharon knows Victor loves Faith.
Also inside the Genoa City Police Department, Dylan (Steve Burton) will have plenty to say to Joe (Scott Elrod) because of Avery (Jessica Collins).
"You want to come at me?" Dylan asks, adding, "Do it. You will never hurt Avery again."
Later in the episode, Paul (Doug Davidson) will share he doesn't think Joe raped Avery.
The Young and the Restless airs on weekdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
