'Hannibal' Season 3: Bryan Fuller Talks Hulu Prospect, Hugh Dancy Hints At Film For Canceled Series
As friends, Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) and Dr. Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) are a toxic mess. As a team, the dysfunctional duo are unparalleled. It's their combined ability to dive deep inside the criminal mind that will drive the cannibal and his frenemy back together in episode 9, "..and the Woman Clothed in the Sun."
"The FBI's search for elusive serial killer Francis Dolarhyde (guest star Richard Armitage) intensifies as Will Graham begins envisioning himself in Dolarhyde's tormented psyche," NBC said of the July 20 episode. "Wading deeper into dangerous territory, Will enlists the help of Hannibal Lecter to assist with the killer's profile."
It's not that Graham particularly fond of Lecter and his penchant for evisceration, but the profiler will grudgingly come to realize that the culinary connoisseur is the FBI's only hope. At least he'll have Alana Bloom (Caroline Dhavernas) looking over his shoulder, acknowledging the fact that he is making a huge mistake.
