'The Walking Dead' Season 6 Premiere: 3 Things We Learned From Comic-Con TRAILER [VIDEO]
October 11 isn't coming fast enough for The Walking Dead fans.
Rick's Group Will Deal With 'Multiple' Enemies
The show dropped its season 6 trailer at San Diego Comic Con on July 10 and if the four minute clip reveals anything, it may just be that the worst still hasn't happened to Rick (Andrew Lincoln), Daryl (Norman Reedus), Carol (Melissa McBride), Glenn (Steve Yuen), Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and the rest of the group--but it may finally have arrived.
So what are the three biggest things we learned after watching this new clip?
Alexandria Will Become Overrun & It's Status As A Safe Haven Will Be No More
Following the end of season five where Rick killed a walker who managed to find his way inside the walls, he will likely begin taking charge of the community's safety management--with Deanna (Tovah Feldshuh) seeming to support him in the beginning. However, by the looks of it, things won't get better or safer, with so many people seeming to become victims of the apocalypse--and all hell and chaos breaking loose. With a heard of walkers walking past the intersection of Redding and Marshall, it seems that the safe haven will quickly become one more inhabitable place to hide from the outside world.
Daryl Is In Serious Danger
Daryl and Aaron (Ross Marquand) have been tracking the Wolves and so far managed to survive their sadistic booby traps. But it appears Daryl's luck may finally run out at some point when they seem to capture him--and he could become an unexpected--and one of the most heartbreaking--casualties yet on the show.
Rick & Morgan Are Going To Be Enemies
There's been a lot of hints that the unthinkable might happen and the once friendly relationship between Rick and Morgan could sour once the men are reunited, and the trailer definitely confirms it. Though he may initially come around to Rick's way of thinking when he explains why he executed Pete, the two will get heavily at odds when Morgan thinks Rick is out of control--and tries to take things back from him.
Their confrontation may even hit the most jaw-dropping conclusion and could lead to the most unexpected and shocking move Rick has made yet on the show--as he potentially holds a gun to Morgan's head after realizing how much he's turned against him.
"You really think you're going to take this community from us? From Daryl? From Michonne? From Glenn? From ME? Do you have any idea who you're talking to?" Rick says to him in the trailer.
Seriously, we've already marked our calendars and are counting down the days, because this truly promises to be epic.
The Walking Dead returns Sunday, Oct. 11 at 9 p.m. on AMC.
