Julia Confirms Twin Twist To Vanessa on 'Big Brother 17'

The Power of Veto competition was held on Saturday and for the second week in a row, John won the Veto. This means he will be taking himself off the block and Vanessa will be forced to nominate another houseguest in his place.

Vanessa and Austin have been talking about targeting Jeff for several days but they had mostly kept it hidden from the other houseguests. This weekend, Vanessa decided to not totally blindside the rest of the house by finding an explicit reason for putting him up.

Late Saturday night into Sunday morning, Austin confronted Jeff about the latter targeting people in the former's alliance. Vanessa would later get in Jeff's face about him talking so much crap. Jeff did what he could to save face, but Vanessa feels perfectly justified in putting him up after this public blow-up.

Very little changed on Sunday, and even Jeff knew he was probably being targeted to go home. Audrey and Jeff bonded over being ostracized by the house, though it's not clear if she wants to work with him or not. Vanessa has told several houseguests that she will not be nominating Audrey because of the LGBT connection. It is not clear if the other houseguests truly believe this as a valid reason, however.

There was also some suspicion among Vanessa and Austin's alliance as they wondered about the loyalties of Clay and Shelli. Additionally, Julia telling Steve about the twin twist caused some slight panic considering Clay and Shelli don't want Steve in their alliance.

Regardless, it's looking like Jeff is toast this week, with very little he can do about it. It remains to be seen if the other side of the house (Jason, Meg, Jackie, Becky, John, etc.) will rally around him, but they seem to like James more than Jeff anyway so there's little hope.

Big Brother 17 returns for another episode on Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. This episode will feature the Power of Veto competition and the Veto ceremony.
