Someone is about to betray Weaver's (Will Patton) ragtag group of survivors, and, after the events of "Hatchlings," it's safe to say that Pope (Colin Cunningham) will be the one to spearhead this dangerous rebellion. Sarah's (Mira Sorvino) death ignited a white-hot rage inside the ex-con, and Tom Mason (Noah Wyle) should start to sleep with one eye open.

"We really shake it up in about episode 5. That's when it kind of takes a turn that we've never seen the 2nd Mass have to deal with," Drew Roy (Hal) told EnStars at San Diego Comic-Con. "The aliens will always be a threat, but for the first time we really have a human against human interaction that is possibly more dangerous than most of the interactions we've had with the aliens."

Unfortunately, Pope won't be the only member of the 2nd Mass to go off the deep end.

"There's definitely a new threat," Moon Bloodgood (Anne) teased. "Two of our characters kind of go off the ledge...Two of them sort of lose themselves and turn against us."
