The detective is still dealing with his villainous brother-in-law, but that doesn't mean he has to let the memory of Malia (Reiko Aylesworth) keep him single forever. As Gabriel Waincroft (Christopher Sean) runs amok, a new woman will pop up on Chin's (Daniel Dae Kim) radar.
"I think it's time," Kelly told TV Guide. "[Last] season, we [didn't see] much of Chin's personal life. ... I think it's time to get a little romance back into Chin's life. I would welcome that."
Now that the series new big bad is intrinsically linked to Chin, however, now may not be the best time for him to put another girlfriend in the line of danger. After all, Malia was murdered thanks to the personal nature of Delano and Chin's old feud. Is Chin really ready to tempt fate once more?
Kim's character won't be the only one caught up in his personal life as season 6 premieres. Steve (Alex O'Loughlin) and Catherine (Michele Borth( will have to have a serious conversation about their future, Adam (Ian Anthony Dale) and Kono (Grace Park) will need to settle into married life, and Danny (Scott Caan) will need to figure out how he fits into his son's life.
