The No. 1-ranked Indiana Hoosiers (5-0) recently passed its toughest opponent to date and will more than likely get another test in its final game in November. Tonight the team will take on the Ball State Cardinals (2-1) in what many are considering a tune up match.

After defeating their opposition by an average margin of 34.0 points in its first four matchups, the Hoosiers were taken into overtime by Georgetown in a Legends Classic championship game on Tuesday in Brooklyn.

Indiana ended up outscoring the Hoyas 18-8 in the extra period of their 82-72 win along with strong performances out of Jordan Hulls (17 points) and Yogi Ferrell (14 points).

After being limited to just six points in the program's 66-53 victory over Georgia on Monday, Cody Zeller tied Hulls for the team lead with 17 points while also grabbing eight boards.

Coach Tom Crean spoke to ESPN about the team's battle against Georgia on Monday.

"I said this was going to be an epic battle and we haven't been in a lot of those in November but we were ready for one. There is a lot of room for improvement and I think I would be nervous if it was in November and there wasn't. But our guys went and played in a high-level way."

Ball State hasn't fared well at all against the Hoosiers. The program is winless in twelve lifetime appearances while visiting Indiana. The Cardinals will head into the matchup after shooting a season-low 32.0 percent in a 68-48 defeat against Indiana State on Tuesday.

Their matchup against the Cardinals aside, the Hoosiers will go up against No. 9 North Carolina Tar Heels this Tuesday as part of the Big Ten/ACC challenge.
