NCIS season 13 is in production now!
Michael Weatherly Recently Tweeted About Reading The First Script Of 'NCIS' Season 13!
On Monday Brian Dietzen, who portrays Jimmy, teased a snap of his first script for the season, while revealing the first table read would be happening the following day.
Pauley Perrette was quick to share her excitement of returning to work then on Tuesday!
Will Gibbs Survive His Gun Shot Wounds & Be Part Of 'NCIS' Season 13? The actress was snapped on set in the morgue with Two and a Half Men actor Jon Cryer.
Cryer posed on the autopsy table as Perrette stood beside it, pointing at him. Does this mean Cryer will be in an upcoming episode or episodes? It seems possible since he was on set while the table read was happening. Or maybe he was just visiting the set. Cryer also snapped a selfie in NCIS headquarters.
It seems like he was really just visiting since Dietzen tweeted later on, "WTF were you doing on our set today?"
While that remains kind of unclear, on Wednesday the premiere episode began to film and it looks like Dietzen's character will get plenty of screen time in the morgue as he shared a photo of himself in his scrubs and with his glasses.
Scott Williams, who is a writer for NCIS, teased a group shot involving Sean Murray (Timothy McGee on the series), Perrette as Abby Sciuto, Emily Wickersham (Eleanor "Ellie" Bishop on the series) and Diezten as Jimmy of course.
They all appear to be looking intently at someone or something. Wickersham also shared a photo of Michael Weatherly sitting behind his character Tony DiNozzo's desk at NCIS HQ.
Based on all of this information it seems as though the premiere episode of season 13 may or may not have a guest appearance from Cryer. Plus, it looks like the NCIS team will return from Iraq at some point.
NCIS returns to CBS in the fall on Sept. 22 at 8 p.m. ET.
