More details have since been revealed regarding these three lady vamps! Variety reported on Wednesday which actresses will be portraying these new villains in town.
Elizabeth Blackmore will assume the role of Valerie. Blackmore has previously appeared on CW's Beauty and the Beast. She is probably most known for her recurring role on the short-lived TV series Legend of the Seeker.
Valerie is one of Lily Salvatore's (Annie Wersching) heretics. She will not take well to the instructions from Lily promoting peace.
Then, Scarlett Byrne and Teressa Liane will portray the same-sex couple of Nora and Mary Louise respectively. They are also heretics that are quite powerful.
Byrne is most known for her role in three of the Harry Potter films as well as for her role in the TV series Falling Skies. Liane is most known for her role in Neighbours.
It seems as though these three fierce heretics will appear in the very first episode of Season 7!
On Sunday Byrne tweeted about flying to Atlanta so she was probably reporting to set.
Liane is loving "the warm welcome" from The Vampire Diaries family on social media!
