Off to the best start in their franchise's history, the Miami Heat (10-3) will take on the San Antonio Spurs (13-3), who have been beaten in their last two matchups at the American Airlines Arena.

In the midst of a six-game road trip, the Spurs remain undefeated thus far. Nonetheless, the Heats will also attempt to stay hot as they're currently unbeaten this season at home.

Miami is coming off of its fourth consecutive win courtesy of a 110-108-comeback over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday. LeBron James had five assists and 30 points in the matchup as his last assist came when he contributed to a Ray Allen 3-pointer with 18.2 seconds remaining. Off the bench, Allen put up 17 points while Chris Bosh finished off with 23.

"It speaks to the competitive will that the guys have at the end of close games. We have a lot of gamers in that locker room," coach Erik Spoelstra told ESPN. They rise to the occasion. They want situations like that. That can be dangerous, as well."

The comments hold true at home where Miami has prevailed in 28 of their last 30 regular-season games, along with ten consecutive wins that include the playoffs.

On Wednesday, the Spurs beat the Orlando Magic by a score of 110-89. Manu Ginobili added a game-high 20 points while Tony Parker had 14 along with eight assists.

"It's early. We'll lose our share, but right now we're playing pretty weak, I guess," San Antonio coach Gregg Popovich said. "It's our second road trip this month. I think they do deserve credit for keeping their focus all that time."
