The No. 12-ranked Nebraska Cornhuskers (10-2) will face off against the Wisconsin Badgers (8-5) at Lucas Oil Stadium in a highly anticipated NCAA Saturday night matchup.

Due to the Badgers less than ideal record, coach Bret Bielema can rationalize on why many people feel that his team doesn't deserve a spot in the Big Ten championship game.

"I appreciate the question and understand it totally. I think there are 10 teams out there in the Big Ten that would love to be in the position Nebraska and we're in right now," Bielema told ESPN.

"When the two teams take the field on Saturday, neither is going to care how the other team got there or what their record is," he added.

With Penn State and Ohio State being ineligible because of NCAA sanctions, Wisconsin will represent the Leaders Division against Legends champs. The winner of the matchup will move on to play either Stanford or UCLA in the Rose Bowl game.

The two-time defending Big Ten champion Badgers ended up finishing third in their division behind the Buckeyes and Nittany Lions after being defeated in three of their last four matchups.

On the other hand, the Cornhuskers are on a roll as they've won six in a row since losing to Ohio State by 25 points on Oct. 6. Nebraska took its division when Michigan went down to the Buckeyes. The team will take the field for its first conference championship since winning the Big 12 in 1999.

On Sept. 29, the Cornhuskers had kicked off their Big Ten campaign when they defeating Wisconsin by a 30-27 margin, coming back from a 17-point deficit.
