Bears vs Seahawks, LIVE STREAMING FREE, Watch Online @ 12 PM CT
The struggling Chicago Bears (8-3) will look to avoid a third home loss when they host the Seattle Seahawks (6-5) in a Sunday afternoon NFL matchup. The Bears will look to continue their positive momentum after ousting the Minnesota Vikings by a score of 28-10 in Week 12.
After coming up short against the likes of the Houston Texans and San Francisco 49ers, the team was more than happy for the return of its previously concussed QB Jay Cutler.
"We have a veteran crew. It doesn't matter whether you win or lose, you have to learn from your mistakes," coach Lovie Smith told ESPN.
Chicago's win over the Vikings combined with the Green Bay Packers' loss to the New York Giants allowed the Bears to stay atop the NFC North with a one-game lead.
Nonetheless, the team's current standing has been overshadowed by a slew of injuries. Left guard Chris Spencer and right guard Lance Louis are both suffering from knee injuries. While Louis will be out for the remainder of the season, Spencer is expected to return.
Also, returner Devin Hester will be out of action due to a concussion and running back Matt Forte is on the shelf as well with an ankle injury. However, cornerback Charles Tillman could very well take the field despite a reported foot injury.
"There is some concern for some of the guys. But we will bounce back," said Smith.
Although he hasn't played since last season with the Baltimore Ravens, five-time pro bowler Andre Gurode is now a Bear. The lineman had appeared in 13 games for his former team and may take over for Spencer.
