Lady Gaga finished her first day of shooting on FX's American Horror Story on Tuesday, and she absolutely loved the experience.

Will Jessica Lange Consider Returning To 'American Horror Story' After This Season?

Gaga tweeted about her experience filming American Horror Story: Hotel on Tuesday, writing:

The singer/actress is set to play Elizabeth, the owner of the Cortez Hotel in the upcoming season. Elizabeth is described as a social doyenne who is obsessed with art, fashion and people (sound familiar?). Gaga worked with Kathy Bates during filming on Tuesday, with Bates tweeting:

Bates is set to play Iris, the hotel manager.

Gaga will only be in eight episodes of the upcoming season, which isn't too surprising considering her busy schedule. American Horror Story co-creator Brad Falchuk recently spoke about Gaga in an interview with ABC Radio.

"We have her for eight episodes. I mean, she's very busy," Falchuk said. "But she's not a cameo. She's not some thing wandering around in the background - she has real, real stuff to do."

He continued, "She has some amazing stuff. Obviously, if you have someone like that doing the show, you want to make sure you honor her bigness and her greatness with bigness and greatness. So I think it's really amazing: from the costumes to her character, it's really...she's pretty spectacular."

American Horror Story: Hotel premieres Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
